Jam City is a video game provider. After some time in a coworking space the company has moved into its first office in Berlin-Schöneberg. When designing the office, the aim was to create a space that enables productive teamwork as well as creativity and communication, but also reflects the corporate culture. In particular, the team wanted a representative communal area for town hall meetings to communicate with people from the other Jam City locations worldwide. In addition to open space area the working environment also needed to offer traditional desks solution to support  focused work on game development.

A creative space concept for the first own office

In collaboration with partners Architects Paper, BuzziSpace, Coalesse, Muuto, OfficeBricks, Orangebox and Steelcase Raumhaus developed a spatial concept based on a predefined room structure. In addition to the classic desks, the office also offers creative workspaces such as a large communal area, a lounge in the corridor area and in the CEO office. Telephone booths and focus rooms encourage focused work.Even the printer room can be used as a peaceful surrounding.

The office created on the 580 square meters is divided in 240 square meters for concentrated work, 90 square meters for communication and 40 for regeneration. The color scheme gives the team the feeling of a feel-good place. Here you can be creative.
