A motivating working culture with a vibrant colour scheme.

With an existing office space in a domesticated style akin to a rabbit warren, the AMI team were looking to completely modernise their workspace as they expanded into a new building on Brunswick Square.

In addition to practical features such as heating and cooling works, the team wanted to integrate a more flexible and motivating working culture, with features such as hot- desking and a vibrant colour scheme. They were keen for the design to reflect the niche nature of the business, which provides information, market intelligence and conferences for the global plastics industry.

AMI now have a modernised space that provides the flexibility they need to grow as a business. With integrated hot desks and a choice of meeting areas, the team can now work together more, which is great news for productivity.

Overall, the space is bright, vibrant and reflective of the brand, which will help make the company more memorable for potential clients. Equally, thanks to the clever use of space, which allows for further capacity, the office will be able to change in tandem with the team - a factor that will help to future-proof the company's expansion.

Key features:

  • A stand out reception area with a moss "living wall".
  • Strong blue branding and a vibrant colour scheme throughout.
  • Resimercial style seating; ideal for ad-hoc meetings.
  • A tea point and breakout area with contrasting monochrome colour scheme, making it
easier to differentiate between work and downtime.
Quote:

“When AMI developed its initial expansion plans, we invited Interaction to aid us in figuring out how much space was required for our business needs. Equally, they were a great help with providing the necessary information for the landlord once we had found a suitable building.

When it came to designing our new office, Interaction worked closely with the AMI project team to successfully extract our required brief and create a space that matched our aspirations for a more open plan working environment, and one that was far more in line with our brand identity.

From day one of the site works, we knew that the project was in good hands and that Interaction had the expertise to deliver what was required – they certainly didn’t disappoint! Throughout the project they maintained control of the budget and effectively communicated on-site progress. We would like to say a special thanks to Mike Borne (Project Manager) and Colin Hector (Site Manager) for their attention to detail, and Passion for delivering the project snag free. We would have no hesitation recommending Interaction to design, project manage and deliver workplaces for other businesses across the South West and further afield.”
